9 Purebred Cat Rescue Groups

Here is a roundup for some brilliant cat rescue groups across the US that specialize in purebred cats. I know what it is like to want a particular breed but also really want to adopt a pet in need rather than buy from breeders. So here is a list of rescue groups that have some amazing cats for adoption. Of course you should check your local shelter first but if you live near one of these organizations it is worth checking out.

All of these organizations run off of donations and volunteers. So if you have time or money to donate they are always looking. You can also help by sharing this blog post to help spread the word.

How do you become a foster home for kitty’s. Im home a lot and have experience with bottle feeding, pregnancy and delivery of animals.

Contact your local cat rescue organization. Most shelters/rescues are also in need of foster families.

It just shows you…even purebreds can end up in a shelter. We’re glad these rescue groups exist. Thanks for sharing.

I think it’s wonderful that these rescues exist. I know a lot of people like certain personality types or the look of a specific breed. Personally, I wouldn’t feel right buying from a breeder, but I would feel good about adopting a purebred from one of these rescues. I’ll share this with my Facebook friends. Thank you for raising awareness about breed-specific rescues!
