Toxic Plants for Cats and Dogs

toxic garden for cats and dogs

Do you know which plants in your home or garden are toxic for your cats or dogs? I admit that I had no idea. Sure I knew that poinsettias were toxic, other than that clueless.

More Th>N has launched a Pet Safe Campaign to educate people on the most common toxic plants in your garden.  In the video you will see the most dangerous garden for your pets.

Far from being rare and exotic botanical specimens, all of the plants and flowers can be found in any home garden or public park. Some of the plants on show include: Begonia, Buxus Pyramiden, Chrysanthemum, Clematis, Cordyline, Daisy, Dahlia, Elderberry, Foxglove, Grape plant, Hydrangea, Hedera Ivy, Lilies (variety), Cherry Laurel, Marigold, Nerium Oleander, Paeonia mix, Papaver Poppy, Tomato plant and Wisteria.

I am not a plant person, so no worries at my house. What a lovely garden though. Great idea to list safe plants, so people know what to buy or plant.

Thank you for this list. I keep everything away from my kitties except catnip and cat grass.
