My balcony was going through renovations and I needed to get rid of my large cabinet I used as the balcony litter box. I started searching for a new balcony litter boxes. My balcony isn’t covered so it is exposed to rain and occasionally snow. There just aren’t many litter boxes on the market that are suited for outdoors.
I thought about using my Poopoopeedo box on the balcony but soon discovered that because the of the design rain can easily get in the top hole and opening.
I loved my Pidan Igloo so much I decided to get another one. The design keeps water outside and the front entrance provides a little hood and is perfect to keep water out.
I removed the inner step and wall the same as I did on my white Igloo. This allows much more space inside.
I chose the green color to match the green-garden vibe of my balcony. But I also love the purple/cool grey color. The box also comes with a scooper which in fact it is an excellent scooper for wood pellet litter. I have the Pidan Litter Scooper Holder which I love as well, but it only comes in white.
The Igloo has been on my balcony for two years now, all 4 seasons of rain, snow and direct sun coming from the South, and still looks great! I am super impressed with the quality and the green color has not faded at all, even in direct sunlight.
